It's always special when Ben Sims comes to Berlin. The UK techno veteran plays the sunlit space of Else on 6th May with several talents affiliated with his labels Symbolism and Hardgroove, and established artists from the groovier tip of the techno realm.

Thessaloniki-born Annē joins the bill. A promising producer with a penchant for rolling techno flecked with Detroit flavours, she has released on Symbolism, Hardgroove, Out of Place, Soma Records, Mutual Rytm and many more besides.

Bristol-born Decka fits the bill, channelling a hybrid of UK and EU techno, teeming with hypnotic motifs and cosmic atmospheres. Since he released his debut EP on Darwin's label SPE:C in 2015, Decka has come into his own as an artist, with further releases on Unterwegs and DJ bookings across Berlin.

Tresor resident Dinamite is a DJ, producer and curator with a string of potent techno releases on Illegal Alien Records, Stratosphera Records, Northallsen Records and many more. Never one to stagnate, she launched her imprint Onna Bushi Records to highlight multihyphenate artists like herself.

Fuse resident Phara plays a live set, bringing his cerebral sound and contemporary aesthetic to life. It's the first time the Belgian artist performs at Else.

LA-born DJ, producer and label owner Truncate completes the lineup. Widely recognised in the European and American techno scenes alike, Truncate garners over two decades of experience as an artist, constantly evolving his sound with a discography to match.
